Common questions

How often are my sites checked?

Every minute on every plan, from Stockholm, Sweden. A failed check is repeated before an incident opens, so a single blip never wakes anyone.

Can I monitor more than websites?

Yes. Ten monitor types cover websites and APIs, ports, ping, DNS records, domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, cron jobs, servers, third-party services like Klarna and Shopify, site health with broken links and Google Lighthouse, and multi-step flows such as logins and checkouts.

Which alert channels do you support?

Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat, Mattermost, Telegram, PagerDuty, ntfy, Pushover, signed webhooks and push notifications to phones and computers, on every plan. SMS is coming soon.

Can I try it before signing up?

Yes. The live demo at app.uptimecheck.com/demo shows a made-up shop, Nordhem, with every feature, 90 days of history, incidents and a status page. No account needed, and nothing you do is saved.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes: 14 days of Professional with no credit card. Choose a plan when the trial ends, or let it run out.

How does billing work?

Pay monthly or yearly, in euro. Yearly costs 25% less: €9, €29 or €69 a month instead of €12, €39 or €92. Prices exclude VAT, which Stripe Tax adds for your country at checkout. You can switch between monthly and yearly later, and Stripe handles payments, invoices and receipts, so your card details never reach us.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings → Billing in the app and manage your plan in Stripe's customer portal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.

Can I move from another service?

Yes. Import your monitors from UptimeRobot, Better Stack, Pingdom or StatusCake, and your status pages, with their history and subscribers, from Atlassian Statuspage.

Can I customize status pages?

Add your logo and accent colour, pick a dark, light or automatic theme, password-protect a page, hide it from search engines and remove our branding. Professional and Business add custom CSS and your own address, such as app.uptimecheck.com/s/yourcompany.

Where is my data stored?

The app, its database and its backups are in Stockholm, Sweden. Status page visitor statistics use no cookies and store no IP addresses.

How long do you keep my data?

Uptime history, response times and incidents are kept for 6 months on Start, 1 year on Professional and 2 years on Business.

Do you have an API?

Yes. The REST API on Professional and Business covers monitors, maintenance windows and status updates, documented at app.uptimecheck.com/docs/api. An MCP server lets Claude and other AI assistants do the same with an API key.
