A usage limit message
Every plan has a usage limit that resets after a few hours, and the message says when. Long conversations and large files use it up faster, so a new chat helps.
The login email doesn’t arrive
Claude signs you in with a link or code sent by email. Check spam, wait a minute, and if you created the account with Google, sign in with Google instead.
The API answers 529 “overloaded_error”
Anthropic’s API returns 529 when it is temporarily overloaded. Retry with exponential backoff; it is not a problem with your key or request.
