How to monitor Klarna, Shopify and other services

Updated October 16, 2026

Your checkout can break because a supplier has problems. A third-party monitor reads the provider’s own status page every 2 minutes. An outage they report opens an incident and alerts you; slowness shows as degraded.

Add a third-party monitor

  1. Open Monitors, choose New monitor and pick Third-party service.
  2. Search the services and pick the provider. 31 are built in, including Klarna, Swish, Mollie, Shopify, Klaviyo, Cloudflare, Vercel, GitHub, OpenAI, Fortnox and HubSpot.
  3. Watch everything, or tick only the components you use, such as Klarna’s checkout in Sweden.
  4. Not in the list? Enter the address of any status page hosted on Atlassian Statuspage instead.
  5. Tick the alert channels and choose Create monitor.

Good to know

  • Each third-party monitor counts as a monitor in your plan.
  • Their incidents show on the monitor and can go on your status page, so customers see that a payment problem isn’t yours.
