DigiD is unavailable during maintenance
Logius announces DigiD maintenance in advance on its “Storingen en onderhoud” page, with start and end times. During some maintenance, logging in with DigiD isn’t possible.
The SMS code doesn’t arrive
DigiD texts the code to the mobile number in your DigiD account. If the number has changed, update it in Mijn DigiD, or log in with the DigiD app instead.
The login works but the service fails
DigiD only logs you in; the organization you go on to, such as the tax office (Belastingdienst) or your health insurer, runs its own website. If DigiD works and that site doesn’t, the problem is with that site.
