Guides

A recording is black or has no sound

On a Mac, allow Loom under System Settings › Privacy & Security for screen recording, the camera and the microphone, then restart Loom. On Windows, check the camera and microphone privacy settings.

A video is stuck processing or uploading

Keep Loom open until the upload finishes; a weak connection slows it down. Loom’s status page above shows problems with recording, uploads and playback.

Recording stops after five minutes

The free Starter plan limits videos to five minutes. That is a plan limit, not an outage.

How does Uptimecheck check Loom?

We request https://www.loom.com/ every 2 minutes from New York, Stockholm and London.
