ID-porten not working? Common problems and fixes
What usually helps when ID-porten fails for you while it works for others.
Check idporten.no from our serverGuides
Can’t log in to a public service
ID-porten offers several ways to log in, such as MinID and the banks’ electronic ID. If one fails, try another; ID-porten’s status page above lists each login method separately.
The MinID code doesn’t arrive by text
MinID sends the one-time code to the mobile number registered on your MinID. If the number has changed, update it in MinID, and log in with another method meanwhile.
The login works but the service fails
ID-porten only logs you in; the service you go on to, such as Altinn, runs on its own. If the login works and the service doesn’t, the problem is with that service.
