How to connect Microsoft Teams alerts

Updated October 16, 2026 1 min read

Microsoft Teams alerts are available on every plan. Teams receives them through a workflow in the channel.

Create the workflow in Teams

  1. In Teams, open the channel and its Workflows.
  2. Pick “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received”, follow the steps and copy the URL it gives you.

Add it to Uptimecheck

  1. Open Alert channels in the sidebar and choose Add channel.
  2. Pick Teams and paste the URL into Teams Workflows URL.
  3. Choose Add channel, then Send test.

Teams admins can limit who may create workflows. If you can’t, ask your Microsoft 365 admin.

See all alert channels, or connect Slack instead.
