There are four ways to sign in to Uptimecheck: email and password, a sign-in link by email, Google and GitHub. With the same email address they all lead to the same account.
Sign in with an email link
- Go to app.uptimecheck.com/sign-in.
- Choose Sign in with an email link instead.
- Enter your Email and choose Email me a sign-in link.
- Open the email and choose Sign in. The link is valid for 15 minutes and works once.
Sign in with Google
Choose Continue with Google on the sign-in or sign-up page and pick your Google account. If you already have an Uptimecheck account with the same email address, Google is added to it.
Sign in with GitHub
Choose Continue with GitHub on the sign-in or sign-up page and allow Uptimecheck to read your profile and email address. Uptimecheck uses the primary email address of your GitHub account. If you already have an Uptimecheck account with that address, GitHub is added to it, as long as the address is verified on GitHub.
Good to know
- New here? On the sign-up page, continue with Google or GitHub, or enter your name, work email and a password, then confirm your email.
- You don’t need a password, but you can set one at any time.
- Accounts with two-factor authentication don’t get sign-in links. The email says to sign in with your password and the code from your authenticator app instead.
- Google and GitHub sign-in count as two-factor authentication, since both have their own.
- Under Account, Signed-in devices shows where you are signed in.
