When a smaller tool fits better
Site24x7 is built for IT teams that monitor many kinds of systems. Teams that mainly run websites, online shops or SaaS products often want something narrower: is the site up, does checkout work, are the scheduled jobs running, and what do customers see during an outage?
That is what Uptimecheck does, in one account and at one fixed price.
What Uptimecheck covers
- Website and API checks with your own method, headers and body, keyword and JSON checks, and response times split into DNS, connect, TLS, server and download
- Multi-step flows for logins, forms and checkouts, optionally in a real browser
- Page speed with Google Lighthouse, and a daily scan for broken links
- Cron job monitors with crontab schedules, start and finish pings, exit codes and output
- Server monitoring on Linux, macOS and Windows with a small signed agent
- SSL certificate and domain expiry reminders, DNS monitoring with change history, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks
- Third-party monitoring for 31 services such as Klarna, Shopify and Cloudflare
- Status pages with subscribers, and alerts by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, PagerDuty, webhooks and push notifications on your phone
Switching from Site24x7
List the websites you monitor. In Uptimecheck, open Monitors › Import, choose Paste URLs and paste them, one per line; write a name and a comma before an address to name it. Each one is checked with GET and counts as up on a 2xx or 3xx answer. Then fine-tune single monitors: keywords, headers, timeouts and intervals, and add flows, cron jobs and servers where you need them.
A fair comparison
We reviewed this page on October 20, 2026. Check Site24x7’s current plans and features, then compare them with our feature comparison. Running both on the same sites during the 14-day trial shows the difference, and the live demo shows every feature without an account.
